Hi everyone,

I'm looking to join a team for my first "hackathon" experience, and looking forward to working with y'all!

I am a current PhD student at Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, in the Dept of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences. I have experience working with adolescents and young adults with sickle cell by directing a palliative care peer support program called Streetlight at UF Health. I have a big heart for our Sickle Cell Warriors, and am really interested in using my data science skills and public health/health behavioral background to improve the outcomes and lives of people living with sickle cell.

I don't have any super set ideas yet, so I'm happy to jump on an existing project to lend another layer of development or to brainstorm someone else who might be in the same boat as well.

Shoot me an e-mail! Let's build cool stuff together!

Hello!

I realize this is late but I am looking for a team to contribute to as much as I can.

I am a recent neurobiology graduate from the University of California, Davis with extensive knowledge in immunology and clinic research. I have experience working with children and college students as a teaching assistant and have mostly focused on alzheimer's research but would like to expand to other diseases and treatments. I hope I can help out with any necessary biochemical or clinical approach to solutions.

I am working on some ideas right now but nothing concrete. But I think working in a team will help me solidify the ideas and propose a multi-facet solution.

Feel free to contact me at altekreeti@ucdavis.edu
