I am joining from the Washington DC area. I work as an IT Specialist at the Department of Health and Human Services, in the Office of the Chief Technology Officer. I'm taking part in organizing this Healthathon not only as part of our office goals to improve the health and well-being of more than 100,000 Americans living with sickle cell disease, but also to encourage the public to join us in developing prototype solutions to solve for critical challenges that people with sickle cell disease face. Greetings All, My name is Blair Christine Jackson, PharmD. I am a Pharmacist/Data Analyst, currently studying Health Informatics and Data Science at George Mason Univ. I am presently working with Mauvareen Beverley, MD. and 2 PreMed students at Spelman College, seeking solutions to improve quality of care for Sickle Cell Patients. This is an important issue to all of us. PreCOVID, I was living in Washington DC. Currently, I reside in Atlanta and Trinidad and Tobago. I look forward to insightful and engaging discussions!
